I loved this place and knew the community. You could not be more private than here. It is really by the beach and the amenities like clubhouse, hot tub and pool are great. Absolutely enjoyed every minute of it.

Very nice place right on the beach. Hot tub worked flawlessly and amenities were nice. Close to Castroville and Marina for food and Elkhorn Slough and beach for outdoor activities. We definitely want to return!

We did not have any correspondence with the host but the staff at Vacasa was helpful (or maybe it was Vrbo). To be honest, I still don't understand the overlap between Vacasa and Vrbo on this listing and truth be told, I found it very confusing. Neverthless, the house was wonderful! The location was exactly what we had hoped. The views to die for. The house was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a little "coffee starter kit" or something so we didn't have run out right away. The listing doesn't mention what KIND of coffee pot they have or if there was even going to be coffee there so we had to see for ourselves before going to the grocery store. There was a few half used bags of coffee and filters someone else clearly left, but a few basics would go a long way (including olive oil for cooking, sugar and coffee, etc.) Otherwise, it was amazing. I'll be returning for sure!

If anything, the photos didn’t do this place justice. It was right on the beach, private, and so relaxing. We saw a handful of people (and whales!) ad the beach the entire time, and the house was perfect for our group. It’s in a secluded place with peaceful starry nights and great local restaurants within 20 minutes. Do not hesitate to book this for your casual, relaxed vibe vacation.

Wonderful beach condo!!!! We loved the location right on the bay and the ability to walk down to the beach! Would definitely return! A few notes for future guests: 1) bring beach towels! There are only 2! 2) there is NO food left at the condo! No coffee, sugar, condiments, so just be prepared to bring everything 3) the “kid” room is on a different level. Not a problem, just helpful to know 4) there is a hot tub at the condo and at the clubhouse (with pool). I loved that we had one at the condo and didn’t have to go to the clubhouse in the evening Wonderful vacation stay!

Despite some minor issues—the heater in the pool was broken, the grill didn’t work, and the dishwasher broke on the last day of our stay—the house and location were lovely. So we would totally stay here again.

Loved the view and the ammenities. All bedrooms were lovely and well appointed. Enjoyed the view on the deck and from the living room. Hot tub would not go above 99. But was still nice as it was chilly when we were there.

House and hot tub were spotless, location was amazing, with direct access to beach down a boardwalk through the dunes, a one minute walk. Views from the house were spectacular, kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies and appliances to cook family meals. I would bring my family back here in a heartbeat! Miles of beautiful beach for walking, but beach was a bit steep, and ocean was a little too rough for swimming. This may be seasonal weather dependent.

This was such a lovely place stay if you’re looking for a little time away to just relax and unwind. The property was so comfortable and the views of the ocean were spectacular. We enjoyed daily beach walks, beautiful sunsets, and some great family time. We would definitely stay again!

The home was beautiful and modern. It was located in a quiet, peaceful and secluded area. There were a lot of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. It has a kheurig that wasn’t listed but a definite plus. The only downside was the bed in the downstairs bedroom facing the front yard, creaked a lot and there’s a huge dip in the middle of the bed, there were ants but it’s a beach so just keep your stuff off of the floor and nightstand, and there wasn’t salt for cooking so definitely bring that with you. Other than that it was a great rental and I will definitely come back

Our family had a great couple of nights at this property. The layout of the house was lovely and the views of the dunes and tea were just wonderful. It felt very airy, comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed exploring nearby Moss Landing and seeing all the marine wildlife. Only improvements would be to perhaps improve the blinds at the windows which were a bit flimsy and some of our clothes got spoilt by the washing machine, which probably needs a good clean. Overall we would definitely recommend to other families wanting somewhere chilled to stay near to busy Monterey.

The views and setting are just spectacular. Condo perfect size for our group. Wish we had more time here. Only downfall is ants all over, especially lower level in bathrooms and in washer. Understand due to dunes, etc. Thanks for the opportunity!

This place was absolutely more beautiful in person than in pictures. It had a full kitchen with everything you need, the space was clean, full of natural lighting and right on a private beach. One drawback is that the beds were not comfortable in the rooms aside from the master bedroom.

We loved this house. It fit all of our needs. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. One kid slept on the couch and it was so comfy. We did have an ant issue in one of the downstairs bathrooms. We would have loved a box fan for each room to help push in the cool air from the windows since there is no AC. The beach is so close! The hot tub was small but nice. The pool was great as well.

We recently celebrated our son's 25th birthday at the Monterey Dune Dream Stay, and it was an unforgettable experience! This secluded location provided the perfect Oceanside getaway for our family. The home was immaculate, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for our needs. We loved the plethora of amenities available, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. One thing to note is that the nearest stores are at least 15 minutes away, so planning ahead for groceries and supplies is essential. However, this minor inconvenience was far outweighed by the serene and beautiful surroundings, making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Overall, our stay was nothing short of perfection, and we highly recommend Monterey Dune Dream Stay for anyone seeking a tranquil and luxurious escape by the ocean.

This house was everything we wanted and more! Close walk to the beach, can see the water from the house, a fantastic view! Had all amenities and things we needs for a short trip. All the kitchen essentials, bathroom essentials were provided. I do recommend finding a grocery store and shopping for food and snacks before arriving it is out of the way from anything. Great proximity to Monterey and Carmel. Again exactly what we were looking for!! I am putting this in my review because I was wondering before we left. They have a regular coffee maker and a keurig. There was a small Folgers grounds provided (maybe left from someone else) but no pods. Sugar and creamer also not provided. LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THIS TRIP!

The property was perfect for getting our beach "fix" with good friends. Although it was a little cool, it was still a great place to be together. The setting was perfect, the townhouse was just as it was shown on the website. It was very clean and well equipped. The only thing we found was the bath tubs were very slick for showering, the spices were old or lacking completely, so just bring your own if you plan on cooking. All in all, a great place to stay!

The beach where this property is located is beautiful! The foliage around the house is so pretty and the views from the house are lovely - you can see the pelicans flying north and south every morning and evening and walk the beach in both directions for quite a distance. The Monterey Dunes properties are private, well kept and clean as was the home. The house had everything we needed and we liked the hot tub too!

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, stylish property. Hot tub under the almost-full moon a plus. Unusually attractive, comfortable, and clean outdoor furniture for a beach rental. The location of this property was a dream come true. We were looking for a place with an ocean view and easy access to the beach. This property filled that desire perfectly. It is also located in a gated community which made it feel more exclusive and secure. The property itself fit our needs very well. I will say that there are a lot of stairs, so it is not a good fit for anyone with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!

This was perfect for our family of 6. We loved the front patio with the hot tub, grill and kitchen/dining area. The beach was only a few steps away - and we had it completely to ourselves! It was very quiet and private - a peaceful escape. We loved the views of the ocean from the bedroom and upstairs in the living area. We will most definitely be back!

was a great stay and the house is beautiful. we couldn't get into the garage as the pin # worked thay was provided by vacasa but it seemed the pulley system might of been off. no biggie as there was ample parking. We will be back

Wow! Our stay at this stunning oceanfront home in Moss Landing exceeded all expectations. With three spacious bedrooms and baths, everyone had their own space to relax. We made the most of the fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, and luxurious jacuzzi, all while enjoying the easy access to the ocean. The beauty of this place truly left us in awe. Highly recommended!

This place exceeded our expectations, all except for one thing. The interior lighting is very bright white led lighting throughout, so the spaces completely lose their beautiful warmth when it gets dark outside and you have to turn the lights on. More attention to the quality of lighting would make a huge difference. Otherwise, we all loved this property and location.

Rented this property for the weekend as I was looking for a place to work over the weekend with a view for total relaxation and comfort...this property did ALL that and MORE! Absolutely stunning views built on the dunes and the layout of the property is ideal for a family beach vacation or a couples retreat. Home had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, bed was comfortable, nice to have private/covered parking, and outdoor areas were vast and inviting. Be sure you stop to gather groceries and other personal things needed as the closest stores are a minimum minute drive. Highly recommend!

Great views, privacy, and easy access. Our stay at Vacasa California's Moss Landing property was very relaxing and uneventful in all the right ways. We were able to easily check-in, get settled, and have a good time walking the beach everyday. Checkout was simple and painless. Overall, would recommend for families looking for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely location that felt private and exclusive. If you enjoy watching the marine life from your front window this is for you. Living room is the best room, couch is enormous and lounge chairs facing coast is perfect. The master bed is very soft, which many may enjoy unless you’ve had spinal surgery (hi), just something to note. Probably best to bring food to cook as it can be a bit of a drive to get food, not too far but better to plan ahead more than we did. Wonderful location, directions and communication was great, thanks for the beautiful stay.

Excellent location and home was spotless. Very quiet and right on the beach. Beautiful ocean views. Very well furnished and all appliances worked and were very high quality. Hot tub was enjoyable and in a good location on the large open space area with BBQ, large table and outdoor furniture. Would rent again if in the Monterey area.

We had an amazing stay at this house. The beachfront location was incredible. We walked the beach multiple times every day, watched the sunset, and enjoyed the views and crashing waves from every room in the house. The kitchen was well equipped with all amenities, there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms, the house really comes with everything one could need. I was most impressed by Vacasa's 24/7 text message help line. We wrote them a few times with questions about using the property and they always responded promptly and their answers helped us solve every inquiry we had. We are looking forward to staying here again and miss it already.

I cannot imagine a better vacation location. The home and the beach were stunning! It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The perfect place to unplug and refresh. We barely saw any other people on the beach at all. It felt like we were the only people anywhere around when walking on the beach. There isn’t a ton to do in the small town, but restaurants and shopping are just a quick drive away. The home was clean, bedding was comfortable. I was so sad to leave. I’m already saving up in hopes to return for next year’s vacation. It was worth every penny. Absolutely beautiful and the perfect vacation home!

We enjoyed the sound of the waves from both inside and outside the condo. The beach is a very short walk from the unit. We spent time reading and relaxing. Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur are all nice day trips from the condo. The condo is fairly remote but very private.

We booked this house because of the proximity to San Jose and Monterrey Bay. Our adult children were joining us and we needed a place to relax. What we experienced was magical. The seclusion and natural beauty of the surrounding farms, dunes and the sound of the ocean transport you beyond your day to day lives to a calm and relaxing space where time stands still. This was a very private condo. The view was amazing. This a little far from town so hit the grocery store on your way out. We walked the beach every morning and found lots of sand dollars. This condo is exactly as described.

A wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean. It was pretty cold so we couldn't do much on the beach or use the clubhouse amenities, but the view from inside the house was breathtaking we didn't want to leave anyway. Owned by a company so they seem pretty strict on checkin/out timings etc, but luckily we didn't need to communicate much with them during our stay. Fully equipped kitchen and very large washing machine and dryer. A very dark 10-15min drive in from the highway at night, but perfect location for stargazing! Would love to come back in the summer sometime.

The place was beautifully set, a short walk from a beautiful beach and coastline, and the house looks directly upon the ocean. The place itself was very clean, comfortable, and well kept, with a huge, comfortable couch on the top floor with plenty of pillows and blankets, and three comfortable bedrooms. It was only a short drive into Monterey as well. We'd love to come back again!

Monterey Bay is so dynamic at this location. The waves break in long lines, like nothing I’ve seen before and watching them change throughout the day as the tide recedes and comes back in was so captivating. Kitchen was very very well stocked aside from missing a 1 cup measuring cup. A few too many pillows on the sectional and beds, but plenty of room to stash them. Cozying up in the large swivel chairs by the ocean facing windows was perfect. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Not shared, and felt very private. The place was super clean. No complaints. Watching the full moon set over the ocean in the morning was brilliant. I saw a few seals and my friend thinks he saw a shark. This is a great spot to spend some time and relax. Beach front bedroom with a king size bed, too many pillows, and an ocean view. What else do you really need?
